Level Two Health & Safety

The qualification provides delegates with an understanding in the responsibilities of employers and employees the benefits of good health and safety.

Entry requirements :  Delegates must be 14 years of age to complete the assessment.

Course Duration :  6 hours of teaching over 1 day.



Level Three Health & Safety in the Work Place

This qualification will enable managers and supervisors to improve the health and safety culture of their organisation, whatever its size or activity.

Recommended that delegates have completed the Level Two qualification before attending this course.

First Aid

Entry requirements :  Delegates must be 16 years of age to complete the assessment.

Who should attend :  Intended for delegates already working as supervisors, managers, team leaders or those who are preparing to start work at this level, and gives them knowledge of health and safety.

Assessment :  Question paper at the end of the course.

Course Duration :  The total qualification time for this qualification is 25 hours, of this 20 hours are recommended as guided learning hours. This can be achieved by prior learning with a workbook and the 2 days in the classroom.



Level Two Safe Moving and Handling

This qualification is an introduction to moving and handling activities for those starting work, returning to work or who need specific training in manual handling, as well as being a suitable qualification for refresher training.

Entry requirements :  Delegates must be 14 years of age to complete the assessment.

Who should attend :  Everyone in the workplace.

Assessment :  Practical assessment and Question paper at the end of the course.

Course Duration :  6 hours of teaching over 1 day.



Level One Principles of Fire Safety Awareness

This qualification is aimed at staff, where a basic understanding of fire safety is required.

Entry requirements :  Delegates must be 14 years of age to complete the assessment.

Who should attend :  New starters in any workplace.

Level Two Principles of Fire Safety

This qualification is aimed at anyone involved in the management of fire safety in any workplace.

Entry requirements :  Delegates must be 14 years of age to complete the assessment.

Who should attend :  Managers, Supervisors, Team Leaders, Fire Wardens/Marshals.

Level Two Control of Substances Hazardous to Health

Delegates who work in an environment where encountering hazardous substances is likely.

Entry requirements :  Delegates must be 14 years of age to complete the assessment.

Who should attend :  Where delegates work in areas such as manufacturing, cleaning, healthcare, transport, utilities and office environments.
