Level 3 First Aid at Work

Meet the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 with a three-day course that covers an extensive range of first aid emergencies, and how to deal with them. This course can also be personalised to the requirements of specific work environments. On successful completion of the course and final assessment, participants will be awarded a First Aid at Work certificate valid for 3 years.

First Aid

Entry requirements :  Delegates must be 16 years of age to complete the assessment.

Who should attend :  Any person designated by their employer as a First Aider at Work.

Assessment :

  • Practical skills test which is ongoing throughout the course.
  • Question paper at the end of the course.

Course Duration :  18 hours of teaching over 3 days.



Level 3 Emergency First Aid in the Workplace

Successfully completing an Emergency First Aid in the Workplace course will enable the student to act as a first-aiders in the workplace. Continuous assessment of participants' practical skills takes place throughout the course. On completion of the course participants will be awarded a certificate valid for 3 years.

Entry requirements :  Delegates must be 16 years of age to complete the assessment.

First Aid

Who should attend :  A person who has been nominated by their employer as an Emergency First Aider. This is generally the case for workplaces who have lower Health & Safety risks.

Course Duration :  6 hours of teaching.

Assessment :

  • Practical skills test which is ongoing throughout the course.
  • Question paper at the end of the course.



Level 3 Paediatric First Aid Course

The course content aligns with the paediatric first aid syllabus within the Early Years Foundation.

This course will provide you with all the first aid theory and practical training to help you treat an infant or child.

Entry requirements :  Delegates must be 16 years of age to complete the assessment.

Who should attend :  Learners wishing to become paediatric first aiders in a workplace with the responsibility for the welfare of infants and children.

Assessment :

  • Practical skills test which is ongoing throughout the course.
  • Question paper at the end of the course.

Course Duration :  12 hours of teaching over 2 days.
